When is Sonic Happy Hour?
Sonic Happy Hours is 2:00 to 4:00 pm every day! During Happy Hour you can score half-price drinks and slushes. But you can actually get half-price Drinks and Slushes anytime when you order ahead with the Sonic App! That’s right, you can enjoy Happy Hour on your way to work, for a break, or a late-night treat! If you haven’t downloaded the Sonic App then you need to get it today! I LOVE ordering through the app!

So you have a favorite Sonic Happy Hour Drink but are you ready to try something new? People have done the math and there are over 1 Million drink combinations available for you! So step outside your normal order and try something new today!
Dr. Pepper Combinations- I know a lot of you are Dr. Pepper fans and so you’ve probably tried Vanilla or Cherry or Vanilla Cherry Dr. Pepper. But would you try Dr. Pepper with whipped cream and cherries?
Coke Combinations- Back in the day, Cherry Coke was one of my favorite. I know some people love Coke with Vanilla and Cranberry but how about Coke with Caramel and Cream?
Half and Half- The truth is that a lot of drinks at Sonic are just too sweet. One way to balance that out is ordering half and half. Try a half unsweet tea and half lemonade with sugar free peach and mango! It’s the perfect summer drink!
Limeade Combination- I asked around our office “what’s your go-to Sonic drink?” The majority of us love Cherry Limeades and Strawberry Limeades. If you want something a little less sweet then try a Cranberry Limeade. Looking for something different to try: Mango Limeade with Orange!
Diet Limeade Combinations- Have you tried a Diet Limeade at Sonic? They are a satisfying choice when you’re trying to stay healthy but still love Cherry Limeades! It combines Sprite Zero, Diet Cherry Flavor, and Lime Fruit.
Lemonade Combinations- Nothing says summer like ice-cold lemonade! I love strawberry lemonade but there are some other combinations to try. How about Blue Coconut and Blue Rasberry added to your lemonade? You could stay hydrated with Powerade Berry Blast and Lemonade!
Fanta Combinations- My son love Orange Fanta. Sonic makes Fanta fun because you can add some different flavors for a fun concoction! Try adding Cherry to your Orange Fanta or even Cranberry!
Water Combination- Just adding some flavor to your water is a great way to stay hydrated on hot and humid days! There are a lot of combinations out there but some of our favorites are Rasberry Lemon Water, Strawberry Peach Water, Watermelon and Strawberry Water. Still can’t beat Water with Lime!
Ocean Water Combinations- What I’ve noticed about Ocean Water is you either love it or hate it. Seriously, ask people their opinions about it. But maybe the world can be united by adding flavor to Ocean Water. A really popular one is Cherry Ocean Water! Have you ever tried it?
Soda Water Drinks- If you love LaCroix then try some different Soda Water combinations! We suggest a Blackberry Lime Soda Water!
Root Beer Combination- Sure, the obvious choice here is to add vanilla but what about Cherry Root Beer? Maybe you can try Cranberry Vanilla Root Beer?
Let’s Get Slushy- Don’t fall into the trap of thinking Slushes are just for kids! NOPE! Go ahead and grab a Grape Slush with Nerds and enjoy the flashbacks of simpler times. If Nerds aren’t your thing then try a Blackberry Mango Slush or a Lemon Berry Slush! My kids love a Mango Slush.
Tea Time- My friend has one Sonic drink and she never changes. Large unSweet Tea with Extra Ice. Expand your Tea experience with a Green Tea with Cream and Vanilla. You can also try a Sweet Tea with Orange and Cream. Arnold Palmer is a popular choice. It’s half tea and half lemonade.
Sprite Combinations- Sonic has just about every fountain drink you can think of and then add some flavors to them. Get crazy with your Sprite with Orange, Pineapple, Cherries, and Cream.
Cold Brew Coffee- Have you ever tried Cold Brew Coffee? Sonic has some different coffee options including the Cold Brew Iced Coffee. I don’t know if you want to add mango to that but might be worth a try?!
Are Shakes Included in Sonic Happy Hour?
Unfortunately, Sonic Shakes are not included in Happy Hour savings. In the past, Sonic had Half Priced Shakes after 8 pm but they haven’t been running that promotion in 2021. It was an awesome promo because you could get shakes, floats or ice cream for half price! If there are any changes we will bring them to you!
Sonic is one of our favorite places to grab a drink after school or in the evening. One of the biggest reasons is we love their ice! You can make that ice at home with these countertop ice makers! These are awesome!
